Eastern WA Late Muzzy Elk

We went out yesterday with good friends..on the late muzzy opener got into a herd. Weather when we started -19 warmed up to 3 degrees..BRRRR.. I gotta a shot at a cow and missed high.   :'(   My buddy connected.  We got meat!  Yeah baby!   :) :)

She was a little over 120 but steep trajectory.  I saw the bullet hit in the snow over her back.. :bash:  Oh well going after them tommorrow!

nice job way to tough out the weather. its amazing what we will endure to chase our passions. Are true 2 points rare???? ive been hunting elk for over 12 yrs and have only seen one and now 2. i have heard of a couple but seen few

Yep shot it above road, drug down with one hand to truck..doesn't get any better than that! :)
