Lake Roosevelt/Rufus Woods

1st time poster, long time lurker...

I hunt the Columbia 30+ days a year between Bridgeport and Cresent Bar by boat.  I absolutely love it, but I'm looking to expand my range (when the wife will let me).  What do you all know about the regs on Lake Roosevelt/Rufus Woods concerning the Indian reservations, high water line, etc?   I've fished Rufus many times and from what I could see, there is plenty of water fowl to make for a great blast and cast trip.  Thanks!

You cant be a long time lurker, or you would know you are going to get a ton of crap for not having an introduction and having your first post be a question!

Other than that. Welcome to the site!!! I mostly hunt over here on the coast so I cant help you, but the eastsiders on here might be able to. Good luck!

I know, I know...  Thought I could get away with "hunt the Columbia 30+ days a year" as an intro...  guess not.  So here go's:
North Central Washington resident with 2 Black Labs.
Gun of choice is a SBE, 1 or 2 works for me (but I'd have no prob with an Extrema2).
Load of choice is Blackcloud 3" #3's for ducks, 3 or 3.5 BB's for Geese, but I'll shoot anything I can get a screamin' deal on.
Weapon of mass waterfowl destruction is a 17.5 Lowe Roughneck, 70hp Evi, Avery blind.

Welcome.  I used to work on that stretch of river.   The rules there are strange.  Unlike some of the state waters, Rufus Woods is private land even under water, despite the 'Ordinary high water marks" and so forth. There are some nice pieces of public land though, and if you have a boat you will usually have them to yourself.
