I knew you would get it done.  Those bull moose are huge!  I want to get one someday, I hope I have some strong backs ready to help me, too.

In response to how big the elk was.the evening light kept me from counting points. His antlers were dark with ivory tips. When I saw him the the next morning I didn't take the time to set up my spotting scope.I taked to a local couple who were hunting around there and they said they,d been seeing a 6x7 in there before season.

Ok thanks sounds good, I was just curious. There is some big elk and moose in that area. I really wish I would of had a tag to drop the big bull moose I saw last year that was just about a quarter mile west from where you dropped yours. Anyhow great job on a good hunt!

The back leg was fine, but he had several abscesses on him which would account for his odd rack.

I'm sure there will be a few more people there next year.. You give pretty good directions.

And we are revisiting this because?
The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.
