Yep, like the otheres said hit it hard in June, I grew up in Rifle and Carbondale and spent the first 18 years of my life fishing the areas. I spent alot of time on the Frying pan and the Roaring fork but the access now days is extremely difficult and those rivers get hit so hard im not sure I would waste my time on them. A few of my favorite "less" popular/known about rivers are the Crystal river near Marble, the Dolores river headwaters near Lizard Head Pass, and the San Miguel river near Telluride. Also the White River holds some monsters near Meeker/Redstone. All of the rivers Ive listed have good public access.
