I am kind of split here on this.   For a small river like the tolt or Skookumchuck it makes the river highly populated.  But rivers like the cowlitz, Columbia, Lewis, I would not consider it a problem.

Now on the topic of 1,000's of people who read this site regarding fishing and then fish areas every weekend would be unrealistic.    Now if you post it to gamefishin, piscatorialpursuits, ifish, would be a huge mistake.  I do not think there are many people here.  But I might be wrong...

Now putting a hunting area would be really bad mistake.  There are tons of folks here that are serious hunters.

Carp, I think I was having a conversation with engelwood.

I have been around the internet fishing boards for more than a decade and will tell you first hand this is how it starts. I remember fishing rivers 10 years ago where you would see maybe 3 other people all day. On some of these rivers now you will see 30. No joke. There are places I used to fish whenever I wanted and would only see a couple people. I won't even set foot at a few of these spots now. This is a touchy subject for me being as I was a fisherman before anything. It consumed me. Your post was not specific either way and I took it as you asking for his spot.

I'm sorry that this came out on this thread but I've seen too many posts on here as of late with too many specifics in my opinion.

Always how, never where.

I certainly dont mind asking what river, as i have a bass boat too so it would be nice to see where to go to catch different types of fish.  If its not too much to ask.  I do understand though what button nubbs is getting at.

Gezz backyard will you please answer - told you when you posted this that you would get this question... settle it ... or more like it "everyone do detective work -look as to where he is from" 2 places to search.. Hint hint.. they will all be here now.. oh and if you see a jackA$$ in a alumiweld that want's to troll between you and the shore because he "don't like bobber fishing" - thta was his response! Tell him to look up common sense fishing as i was trying to fight a fish! I told you backtard i should of took pic with my phone and posted that on here as he trolled between us and shore! Then let everyone have at him! It's ok tell them where - I'm good with it... We need more people to visit for our economy!  :)..

Did you look at the last post date :chuckle: Its not a big deal, its all done. If he wants to share its his choice. That is one of the most common questions with anything fishing and hunting. Its up to everyone to choose to share or not.

So far to me it looks like: no tell river :chuckle:

hey carp it is all good.... :chuckle:
knoteabite was also in my boat...LOL...  hint, hint, and hint.. .where is he from???? LOL
he was commenting on a Jack@ss that came in on where we were and trolled right between us and bank when knotabite was fighting a fish. his response to him asking if he was going to troll right thru us was F#CK YES!. now mind you the bank was close to us. we were maybe 20 feet from his boat. knotabite gave some comment form not being from around there pissed that guy off and then his comment back was "aluminum will beat fiberglass any day"... WTF IS THAT ALL ABOUT. commenting on ramming someone !! what a *censored*!
we were one of two boat fishing this 100 yard stretch of river back and forth, no body on river all morning until this guy came in around 1pm. when he made it up to our friend in his boat our buddy made the same comment to him about trolling right thru this stretch, he started with him as well but was far nicer to him.. i heard the comment we know there is fish here and we want a chance at them too. pretty rude fisherman!!! in my opinion the river is open to all and everyone should respect eachother. there are miles and miles of river there to fish if he was there first we would of drifted down to him and moved out and around til we passed him then started again.. why couldn't he do the same????
especially when we have a fish on.
it was still a great few days.. we ended up with 20 fish for 3 days of fishing and that guy never showed back up.. :IBCOOL:

well there is more to that story.. LOL when he was up by our friend in his boat he hooked a fish trolling right between our buddy and the bank... well that guy turned out right in front of our friends boat to start fighting that fish, in doing so his two lines he had out were totally tangle up in our friends motors. LOL.. fish was lost, lines all tangled. what a mess.. at this point he still didn't know we were together. our bud used his kicker to head down river to us where he asked me to remove all the fishing line wrapped around his big motor's prop.. at that point the guy realized we were together and packed up and ran somewhere else..LOL.
he was all nice to our friend even when our buddy was cutting his lines with his knife..(i think cuz it was a aluminum boat with his guide name on the side)! but us, he saw 3 guys out in a bass boat steelheading.. and must of thought he could be a ass and push us out. like i said it could of been so much easier to work with eachother fishing a area than try to bully your way it. he lost his fish and lost line and plugs, CARMA IS A BITCH!!!!

Now that's funny. I know how it is with boats and rude people. I have seen my fair share as well. It sucks that there are people out there, who just don't care. For me i still have no Idea where you guys are fishing. Even if your location is on your profiles. Because I have not traveled around much to fish. I don't mind if people don't say where they are at,wont Hurt my feelings
