its not a real elk, Its just the legs stuck in the snow. How many times have you seen a big game animal dead lying flat on its back with its hooves in the air? Doesnt happen they die on their sides

The Story
On a previous hunt after skinning and gutting the animal we stuck the legs from the elk in the snow like that, it snowed and covered all our tracks over the next few days, I had forgotten about the legs and was on another hunt when we happened onto the previous kill site (fresh snow covered the previous activity), the guy in the picture spotted the legs and was curious what happened, he was mulling over the situation and I had to snap a picture before telling him. We had a good laugh and then continued on looking for his elk.
