Not sure but if it was you cant tell by looking at it. When I put a new water pump into it it was all clean and no corrosion inside anywhere.

Water pump, do you mean the impeller? Did you install the rubber ends going the rite way? if they are reversed, it wont have much pressure, unless at high rpm's. would hate to see a nice motor you got go, to not enough water flow.

impeller was put in the right way. Motor runs great used it all weekend at Drano trolling around.
