I got this buck in unit 23... the last year has been great hunting for deer in AZ. anytime anyone wants to chat details offline, drop me a note... i would like a few pointers for WA scouting areas also.

the strip is always the hot spot in AZ and the odds are crazy...
Here's some stats for 13A last fall (I have photos of most of them from the game check-in, I'll get them posted soon)
 
The ones checked over 200 are as follows:
8x8 scoring around 230- Sunshine Point
10X9 scoring around 249 Kip Fattalehs deer out of Tuweep Valley
8X7 scoring around 205
7X7 scoring right around 224
8X8 scoring 240- Hancock Knoll Catchment
7x7 scoring 234- Tuweep valley
8x10 scoring 230- Cold Spring Wash
206- Duane Shroufe
226- Linda Shroufe
7X9- 234 East of Hancock Knoll

Nice Mount. I too have been buying points fo AZ, think I have 8 now. What was the deadline for deer points? I hope I didnt miss it again  :bash: Got my elk points squarede away though  :tup:

Thanks Ric, looks like it has to be at Arizona fish and wildlife by the 14th, postmarks dont matter. I had the wife print off my apps so I can send them out, my damn printer broke  :bash:

Make sure you have the right address. It's NOT the Carefree Hwy address any more. They changed it last year. I got my elk and antelope apps back 3 days before the deadline and had to overnight them. >:(

I'm getting my first archery buck back hopefully sometime soon I can't wait I wanted to keep the original velvet too. Awesome buck!
