port blakley land is gonna be walk in only again this year The elk herd in there needs a little bit of a buffer, no one likes hunting a diminished herd and to have 800 trucks racing around aint no fun either. Let those who want to hunt, strap on their boots.
Talked to their main office and plan on it being closed for the next couple of years from both sides Tiadnapam and winston creek.

My buddy that was going to take me out there is going to be on his submarine at that time. So I guess Im going to have to do alot of scouting. And I'll take all the help I can from people on this site!Good luck!

Find the traffic jam on opening morning heading into the tree farm.2. Follow the truck traffic up into the woods.3. Find some timber or reprod to hunt.4. Get out of your truck. 5. Let me reiterate, get out of your truck and hit the woods. 6. Shoot an elk.7. Let the work begin! You will have no problem finding a cow as long as you follow these simple steps! All kidding aside, you should tag out fairly easily as long as you dont just want to road hunt. Then again, I have seen quite a few cow shot from the road in the 15 years that I have hunted in there. Good luck!
