So, reading the law, if I legally obtain the bear in question, I can sell the hide and the gall bladder, and keep the skull and bleach it?

No you can't sell the gall bladder.  You can sell the Hide, Hide with claws, hide with claws and skull.  You can't sell the skull by tiself, or the claws by them self.  In order to sell them they must be attached to the hide.

If I get one, it's probably not going to be "Prime" as I hunt around the Shelton area, lower elevation, and probably not that big.  So, if a taxi won't take it because it's not prime or large, where do I off load the hide?

Cut the head off and leave it in the woods.

Gotcha.  Shame I can't sell the gall blader though.  So much money left in the woods.

You don't have to leave the gall bladder in the woods. Although you can't sell it, you can take it for personnal use, the orientals claim it's an aphrodisiac.

About $95- $110 per foot. Plus bleaching the skull if you want that too. Which I did. That's maybe another $65-75. It just depends who does it and what side of the state your on. Mine was $95 a foot 6 years ago. I've noticed to westside is more money than the eastside. Don't know why though.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

Yes. The taxidermist does all the skinning of the head for you. PM Michelle Nelson, she'll give you the scoop.

Cost to tan a Bear Hide and to Clean and Whiten a Skull depends on the Taxidermist you take the Bear to.  Some taxidermists charge a flat rate and others charge by the Linier Foot (Nose to base of Tail) to tan a Bear.  In 2010 I charged $50 per L/F to tan a Bear Hide.

To Clean and Whiten a Bear Skull in 2010 I charged $150.

You shouldn't have to worry about skinning out the head.  Most taxidermists will do that for you and won't charge extra.
