2011 Bushnell Bear Box Security Case
« on: July 22, 2011, 01:21:28 AM »
I just got my 2011 Bushnell Trophy Cam (model #119467C) and Bushnell security case delivered to me today.  Unfortunately and my luck the security case doesn't fit my 2011 cam.  I've been all over the net trying to find one for my cam and all I keep ending up with is the same one that I already have.  Either I'm looking in all the wrong places or there isn't one.  If anybody has any info or maybe a model number it would be greatly appreciated.  I have been dying to get this thing and set it up, was hoping I could by this weekend but not looking so good.  Thanks for taking the time to read this.  Btw to the people that keep posting their pics, great work!  I find myself getting on my phone every hour checking for new postings and would love to contribute asap.  Awesome forum!!!

Take a look at ebay, then e-mail the seller.

You can take a look at either my thread in the deer section or trail cam section. I've got the same set up and got the security box from bushnell. I probably doesn't fit because the newer cam has the loop in the back for a cable lock. Mine looks like this. The pics are without the lid.

Yep, that would be the box I need right there.  Thanks for showing me that.

the top fits nicely. it came from bushnell with a padlock as well. for me, the bark of the tree holds the lid on tight but even with the lock there is a bit of play where it comes open a bit. i would suggest maybe a very small zip tie just to keep the lid tight once a lock is on it.

I had hours and hours of bear footage on my last check. they didn't mess with it once that i could tell. i think the metal case keeps some of the scent off as well as a deterrent. I'm convinced that bears simply like biting cams with plastic housings.

Thanks for the tips.  How do you like that cam btw?  I've been reading some people complaints on them.  Mine is a little different than yours being the all black low glow, but exact same body.  That's funny about the bears, seems to be the case with anything, when your prepared nothing happens, but when unprepared you get bent.

Mine is working very well. I had no problems with my 5.0 mp one but it sadly got eaten. If you want to see some video from the camera check out my trail cam thread. last weekend I posted a video of mr. bear. Actually....buddy bear. turn on your speakers and you will understand. let me know what you think or post on the thread.

Oh ok yeah I know witch one your talking about, just can't remember the names of the people that post the pics.  I actually bookmarked your link because of all the info of what your using for bait, going tomorrow to get all my supplies.  Got a buddy convinced he needs to help me pack it all in.  Awesome pics, even showed the wife that's what my cam will look like, she's a little put out still that I spent that much on one.  Lol liked the vid of the deer with the music, haven't seen the bear one yet ill check it out.
