The only prob. is there coming in to the trace minerals so you cant shoot them, it is considered baiting. or i would be all for it.

the only problem is that F&G said that even if there a 1/2 mile away and headed in that direction NO you can't shoot them it would be nice if there was some kind of distance boundary

there are thousands of salt licks and deer baits in the woods..whos to say that any bear we have shot wasnt going to a man made attractant we didnt know about? They would have a serioulsy hard time convicting anyone on that

I would be all for it but i am afraid of F&G. there is a real problem here with them i have seen 27 this year when i quite counting so finding one shouldn't be a problem, the berry's are late. so the bears are just now starting to move up a little. and there HUNGRY calling would prob. work well. or just classing the berry patches now.
