fishing boats
« on: June 22, 2008, 10:54:58 AM »
just thought I would show eveyone our fishing boats.  these are mine and my daughters.  I have caught lots of trout, chum salmon out of them so far.  I hooked into a king last weekend must admit I am becoming a kayak addict.

Nice ! We have two singles and a double and just started fishing from them last year. We hit the small lakes around our area and I paddle the double while the kids troll a wedding ring for trout. I am going to mount a pole holder on my single so that I can go myself.

Once I get all mine in singles and paddling on their own I think I might get a ocean kayak trident 13 or 15.  somthing that moves a bit easier.  this one is great but something a little more stream lined would be great of salmon trolling in the current and wind.  my boys are begging for kayaks now and they are only 4 and 5.  I have more fun fishing out of my kayak that I ever had out of a boat.  not sure why that is but it is fun.
