Anyone bought a refurbished trail cam?
« on: September 02, 2011, 10:26:10 PM »
I saw refurbished Cuddebacks on ebay for about $110.00, free shipping, with a 6 month warranty. This is for the capture non IR camera. I used this same camera before and loved it. I also bought a bear box for this cam.

Brand new on ebay the same cam is about $145.00 shipped.

Anyone have any experience with the refurbished cams, specifically refurbished Cuddebacks?

Thanks guys.
Joe

Seems a little overpriced. I don't think I would pay more than half the price of a new for reman.

I have  a couple steath cams that are factory refurb. I bought them straight from the factory and paid less than half retail and came with a 90 day warranty. So far they wotk just fine. I have also seen the factory refurb cuddys on ebay. Might be worth it, but for a few more bucks you couold get one with the full warranty. But if it was me I would have no problem going with the factory refurb.

:yeah:  I have never bought a refurbed item, but from what i've been told, they can be better than new, because the defective part(s) that caused them to be returned have been replaced, sometimes with improved parts, and the item is thoroughly tested to make darn sure it works.
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"
