168 gn Barnes TSX Reloading Question
« on: September 30, 2011, 12:40:42 PM »
I have been reloading for my 30-06 (Savage 111) for about a year now and have gotten a lot better accuracy then I did with factory ammo.  So far I have used 165 grain bullets and have used Hornady SSTs, Nosler Partitions, and Sierra Gamekings.  I was just given a box of 168 grain Barnes TSXs.  In loading them is there anything that would be different with them being an all copper bullet?  I noticed that they are longer then the 165  grain bullets.  I don't have a Barnes reloading manual so I am working on trying to find some data on what i need to know about what I need to do different using a bullet that is heavier, longer, and all copper.  Any help you can give me would be great!
Thanks!
Joel
