Where I hunt in the Naneum is all green dot roads so no road travel of more than 50 feet off road. :bdid: the unit consistantly has about 1000 deer hunters give or take  every year. But I only hunt two canyons and they usally  have about 50-100 guys max during modern in that area.  It can get really orange so look to the steepest hardest country and go have fun.

Well look into the green dot road system, I only hunt in a very small portion of the unit. I have no idea what the rest of the unit looks like. But every road I have been on from coleman canyon to the ridge road around the reserve back to the colockum is green dot road.

its one of the areas I was looking at as well not sure what I am gonna do its looking awful easy to drive for everyone but me so no idea...same for the LT murray etc...if its easy access from the corridor its gonna probably be a zoo.... I am a bit afraid of combat hunting and cannot at this point get in very far driving...oh and add the discover pass ..... :bash: :bash: :bash:

went in muzzy opener and roads were blocked and people driving all over gonna assume modern will be way way worse

It will be a f---ing zoo up in the naneum  sorry about the language but almost all of kitittas county will be over run by the west side. For the deer louse it went through about two years ago with a pretty good mortality rate deer are coming back.

Anybody heard of "DEER LOUSE"?  :bash:

I was elk hunting in the nanum in 09 and I told my dad about the deer louse while we were up there, he didint relize the full impact of it until we came accoss at least a dozon winter kills in the few days we hunted in there. But the deer are coming back.
