I'll be going up the **** again next week even though there are no deer there. In fact, one reason I go there is because my wife has ordered me not to shoot a deer, and going to the ****** ensures I won't because, well, there are no deer to shoot. I go there also because it's a great place to camp and I like to visit other hunter camps (thousands of them) and share stores about not seeing any deer, and how there won't be any deer until after mid-November when the snow gets deep in the high country and the bucks feel the urge to date some does. It's also very colorful up the *****; in addition to the autumn colors there are splashes of orange behind every tree--it looks like a big pumpkin patch in the woods. Well, I guess I shouldn't complain. I did shoot a nice buck on **** one year, when I was 17. I'm 64 now, and I'm pretty sure there haven't been bucks in that area ever since. I hear the Blues have lots of deer.
