I don't agree......If you just want to shoot a legal buck, your best bet is west of the pass.
Yes there are deer on the east side along 410, but the number of legal deer are not higher then an any buck hunt on the west side.

After you come thru mt rainer park on 410, it is all 3pt or better.   There are lots of roads to drive up.
I kill elk and eat elk, when I'm not, I'm thinking about killing elk and eating elk.

It doesn't matter what you think...

Anything EAST of the Pacific Crest Trail is 3pt or better.  Lot of country to hunt up there, but access is difficult on some of the better areas and it can be THICK.  Hunted the area for the better part of 25 years before I moved away.

There's not a whole lot of deer east of enucmlaw which you can also see on the WDFW harvest reports. good luck!

i beg to differ... there is a ton of deer that just need a stalker, its thick area, best recommendations have a machetty with ya. alot of walkin/bike in areas. check 73,74,75 roads, you can atleast drive up those FS roads and find a nice area to go out and hunt.
Boom boom boom...

You're close to Seattle so you're gonna have a jazillion people hunting the same spots as you. Just be careful and look out for idiots.
