Start scouting and getting landowner permission now if you have not already.

My best friend and his hunting party had 3 of these tags last year. They hunted hard every day. And they filled 1 tag. They would see elk first thing in the morning, and then right before dark. He said it seamed like the elk were always 1 step ahead of them.

Te elk are there, i have hunted it for years. Getting into the brush is your best bet.

:yeah: A buddy and his uncle drew it this year, but they put in knowing they could already hunt private property that the Elk frequent.  Good luck on your hunt.
When you see the third, thin the herd.
Right now I'm somewhere picking up sheds.
