Colville/Springdale area butcher for moose meat
« on: July 17, 2008, 09:27:07 PM »
I have a good butcher down here in Walla Walla that I use (he does good work but is getting increasingly difficult to work with as he is so busy with domestic animals) but may decide to take my moose meat (not the least bit optimistic am I?) to a butcher closer to the hunting area. Does anyone know of a butcher up that way that does good work on big game animals? Thanks, Brian.

I have used Rays Custom Meats for all my wild game. I butcher my critters myself but I take the burger meat to them for grinding and wrapping. They are fair priced and do a good job.

Smokey Ridge in Chewelah does an "AWESOME" job. I've used Ray's before, but by look's..  seem's like Smokey's is alittle cleaner. IMO
