BANG! BANG! BANG! did you get'em? I dont know!
Grand Ronde
«
on:

Yesterday I took my wife down to the Grand Ronde to see if we could catch a couple of fish and low and behold we did! It snowed a good 4 inches on us down there but we had a great time! Rattlesnake grade is a bit nasty but my buddy made it up and down in his two wheel drive ranger so it can be done. I will get some pics up later seeing as I have to head back down there and see if we cant find some more fish!

Here are some of the photos from yesterday!
It was snowing just a bit down there!
My wife tryin to find the big one!
Her friend Sophie
Their Fish! my wife is the one in the blue and black jacket!
It was a fun day out on the river! I hope we can make it down there again soon but with all the snow it might make things a bit nasty on the grade!

I love the color on those fish. It's been way too long since I last fished there.

That river looks great! Never have made it down there.
Its more my style with the smaller river. Clearwater/snake/columbia are great but i like to be able to read the water on the smaller waters. Going to have to make it out to that nice little river this year.

The river jumped to over 4,000 CFS up at troy so I hope that will blow the ice jams out! I cant wait to get the drift boat down there and really put a hurtin on some fish! We were going to make the trek down there this morning but I am not real sure that the river is in shape to we decided to pass! I hope to get down there this week before I have to go back to work on the Clearwater! I will put a report up if we do get back down there!

From what I have seen the river is not technical. Do you agree?

No for the most part the river is pretty easy to navigate but there are some stretches are a bit more technical than others. But the stretches from the hatchery to bogans is really easy and for the most part from bogans to schumaker is an easy drift as well! Both have lots of fish in them right now!
