I went out at 1:00 AM until 7 AM to fish. There was only one rig when I got there and one more came in behind me. I fished from the Deadline hole down to the hatchery. I saw four fish rolling. I used spinners, glow corky, glow jigs, glow ez-eggs that I tied myself, and glow worms, bottom half of a glow grub + topped with glow corky, bottom half glow grub that I split to get more action + glow corky, at times I used a sinker 1 foot from the bait to fish different columns of water. For night fishing is there something I am missing to successful catch a steelehead?
NOTHING!!! I still had fun.
I had to leave at 7 AM for a work party to clean up storm damage debris. I ran a chain saw from 9 AM until 4:30 PM. Pretty tired to say the least. Went to church at 5 PM and darn near fell asleep about 4 times.
