YEP !  !  !

I think that the Okanogan hunters, who try Swakane in the General Season, will be disappointed.  They are use to seeing a lot of deer.  There is getting to be more local deer in the unit but its reputation comes from the late season hunters who are harvesting the big migratory bucks that come down in November.  I don't expect the General Season hunters to come back next season.

Personally, I am please to see them cut back on the late season permits.  It would be nice if Okanogan would recover enough to provide more late hunts up there.
