I still have the old split rims on my '69, and want to get just some 16"  8 lugs for it.. Anyone have any idea on what they are running now??

Well the old split rims likely had 7.5x16 on them. A 235/80R16 is about the direct replacement for OD and width. That is a very common size for dually rigs as well. other sizes that are common for older trucks are 245/75R16 Older Chev rims fit on fords bot not the opposite. Ford generally had a smaller center hole. Hope that info helps.
