New Member-brhayter-Introduction and Thanks!
«

Hi all,
Just wanted to introduce myself on the forums, and wanted to extend a thanks to everyone who posts on here regularly, this site really is a great resource for serious hunters in WA state, and I can say that I've learned a lot just by reading through some of the posts on here.
My name is Ben, I'm 23 yrs old, and have been a lifelong WA state resident. That said, I graduated with a 4-yr degree from (the very conservative) Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, MI. I was raised in a loving, Christian home by two awesome parents who taught me and my two siblings to always act with respect and to think about others first. I work at Costco (I started in 2007) and have kept and excelled at that job all through school. I consider bow-hunting and the outdoors/wildlife (I hunt with a Mission by Mathews Maniac RH double-cam) my number one passion, and it is a year-round obsession! I hope that I can contribute on here to some of the forums with pics, questions, and (maybe!)answers, and I look forward to talking with all of you!
Also, I don't want this to sound the wrong way at all, but I am in the process of looking for a more long-term career path...I know it can be a long process, but if anyone on here needs someone who: loves good hard work (whether on a farm, ranch, construction, timber, care-taking, or any other kind of business) and has a spotless work/school/criminal record along with real motivation to do things right the first time, I'd love to talk!!
I am hoping that this will be my first year sticking an elk with my bow. Scouting has been underway for sometime here on the west side....Good luck to all, and thanks again!!
Ben

Awesome!! Thanks, and yes, Hillsdale is great. I had an incredible time there, and the education is top-notch.
I live near Puyallup, and hunt mostly over here on the Westside anywhere close by where I think I can get into animals...mt. adams, also out past eatonville, ashford that area, and looking to expand to trying to figure out if I can hunt coyotes on the Yakima Indian Reservation at all (?) I have contacts there with land (farmers), but not sure what the tribal regs are seeing as they don't issue permits for them...
