WSTA loses another trapper and friend.

JENSEN,
James R. Sr.
(Age 70)

Of Ione, Washington, passed away unexpectedly on April 9, 2012.

Published in Spokesman-Review from April 15 to April 16, 2012 He was born November 13, 1941 in Taylor, Michigan.
He worked for Bonneville Power Administration as a Journeyman Lineman for 32 years, was a member of the IBEW Local 77, as well as the NRA and the Washington Trappers Association (of which he was awarded Trapper of the Year).
He was an avid outdoors man who had a passion for hunting, fishing and teaching others the stewardship of nature. He participated in yearly demonstrations to teach the novice trapper the latest in humane trapping methods.
He is survived by his wife Patricia A. Jensen, his children James Jensen Jr., Kimberly Leffler (Vince), Lisa Rietberg (Phil), Kelly Vela (Rick), Chris Harvill (Stephanie), 14 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Rest well "Raul."
