Taking my boy out for his first hunt.
« on: May 06, 2012, 11:02:19 AM »
My son just passed his hunter safety course.  As his reward, he got a new 20 ga shotgun.  He's been shooting every weekend and doing great.  Gonna head down towards Lyle in two weeks to try our luck.  He is excited to say the least.  It will be memorable regardless of success.

Back from the hunt.  No birds.  Heard several of them in the deep nasty stuff and got one to come to about 100 yds, but wouldn't commit.  Lots of hunting pressure has them call shy.  Had fun and am looking forward to next year.
