Thanks.

Wow, purchased an hour ago, and already got notification of the vid shipping! Thanks for the info.  If anyone cares to share any info (i.e. tips for hunting the thick vegetation) they have on the Coweeman unit (GMU 550), I'd gladly listen.  I hunted there last season with minimal success.

Appreciate the reply's.

i bought a book on elk hunting a week or so ago and have been reading it and its very informative titled:

Elk and Elk Hunting: Your Practical Guide To Fundamentals and Fine Points
by: Hartt Wixom

Its got chapters on basically everything. I got it at half priced books for like $6 or something. See if you can find a copy somewhere!

There was also a book there titled Deer and Deer Hunting but I didnt pick that one up.

You can find some good videos on youtube.  There are a few from primetime outdoors on there, and many are filmed in Washington.

Elknut.  Best elk instructional video ever.  I got it a week or so ago and there is so much info you will be watching this video for weeks trying to get it all down.  Paul has the same passion all of us avid elk hunters have and it shows in his excitement.  This video will ensure success to the ones that study it and work hard afeild.  Let us know how ya like it.

The elknut stuff is good.

Our (Primetime Outdoors) videos aren't geared towards being specifically informational, but you do get to see some of the tactics we use year in and year out to be successful.  Not to mention they are all free to watch on YouTube.

Thanks for all the reply's.  The Elknut vids are great.  My GF thinks I'm crazy for sitting on the couch making calls along with the TV, but she hasn't dumped me yet.  :chuckle:

JPhelps, I'm checking out your vids now.
