Basser down ha ha!
« on: April 02, 2013, 01:16:44 PM »
Hit lake Terrell yesterday, was fishing along and ping TWANG dead foot pedal!! :bash: Primary steering cable snapped :bash: NOOO not now!! I have vacation time in 2 weeks for some prime bass fishing :yike: Got my use out of her though, going through my records, that motor had seen 8 years of service on the front of my boat, which equals about 8,000 hours of fishing time (no joke)! Thank you Motorguide

Then on my way home I swung by Burlington to see what Wholesale Sports had for motors and they are closed for business :yike:  :bash:  :bash:  :bash: nooooo, I loved that store!!  :bash:

I got home and promptly hid under my bed fearing more bad news  :peep:

Ran over to Cabelas today and should have a new trolling motor next week!  :IBCOOL:

FORTUNATELY this past winter I bought some back-up :chuckle: 12' Alumacraft Jon Boat that I just finished customizing hee hee, I shouldn't miss a beat next week

I haven't fished for bass in several years. A guy at work showed me a pic of a 9 1/2 lber caught and released at Terrell this past weekend. What a PIG!  :yike: Caught on a white spinnerbait. I might have to find a little time for some topwater bassin this year.
