Lighted nocks now legal what do you think?

I'm tempted to test out, but $$ And foc are concerns. There are a couple brands one is around 23 grains.
On the other hand it would make it easier to find an arrow.   
I do have this irrational fear that one day i will step on a broad head that wasn't recovered.

I can tell you that out to 65-67 yards my arrows with and without group the same. Its nice to have them as a option I think it may lead to more animals recovered. They have saved me there cost already just during practice because arrow going through my target and tall grass equals a near imposible to find arrow Ive has passthroughs on animals and couldnt find the arrow which sucks.

I'd be surprized if they group the same with broadheads unless you opt for a heavier broadhead.

Exactly my thoughts, plus adjusting for foc shouldnt be too hard, there is many ways to compensate for the added weight of the lighted nocks. Easton has great videos on how to modify foc.
And you will probably have to use a bigger broadhead. Not a big deal unless you already have tons of money into sets.

Yeah I agree, bigger broadheads. I havent put much money into a full set yet so not a big deal for me.

To me its close quarters hunting more intimate, without the loud explosions of gunfire to interupt nature. You can miss and half the time your target doesnt even know its being shot at. And they do have 4x magnification sites for bows, theyre just not legal in this state.

It may be for critical in a short draw but I use 100gr heads with axis cut at 30" and I can stick two arrows side by side with field or broad heads I even have a ruined arrow from the broad head cutting down the side. I dont think id ever use a optic for archery but lighted nockes do nothing to make you more accurate.

Excellent!.. Glad this went through. I'm not going to jump on changing my setup, but there's no reason this (and expendables) should not be allowed.
