Lingcod on the fly south sound
« on: May 26, 2013, 11:34:50 PM »
Went out fly fishing the other day with my cousin and caught this 30" ling on the fly. The fish managed to get me in to the rocks twice but I still won. It was a blast.

Nice!  You don't see those things caught on a fly every day.  Good job!

Nice. Brett was hoping for an invite this weekend  :dunno:. We will have to see about next time. He says he is not against using bait and a regular pole just so you know   :chuckle:.

I never even went out this weekend just stayed home and did some chores and enjoyed the rain. I will try to get Brett out before the season ends you can tell him that. We will try to find some time around his baseball schedule

We drove by your place yesterday...did not see your truck so we kept going. It was only raining then not pouring yet. The wood shed looks good but it is a ways from the house.

It must of been in the morning I went to the archery range for a couple hours. Would of been nice to see you guys. It is far but I'm building a rack next to the house to keep alot of wood in it so I will only have to fill it every once in a while. There isn't too many places that are flat around the house.
