Western Washington Elk Season and the Election
« on: October 21, 2008, 05:46:07 PM »
I leave on the 1st for my Elk trip, I am torn because I want to be out hunting really bad but a little part of me wants to be home watching the election coverage on the 4th.  I am hoping I can hear the results on the radio.  anyone else feeling this way?  I want McCain/Palin to win so bad! :dunno:

I would hunt.  But make sure to get your absentee ballot in before you go.  I do not want to see guncontroloma in office.  biden is even worse.

Absentee ballot is the way to go.  Got my last Saturday and voted for the old guy/pretty lady, hopefully they win.
Progressives are coming for your guns.
What are you going to do?

Well me, I do not have any guns, gave away or sold them 15 years ago.

If the news is bad when you get back, treat yourself to a few new guns.

Great advise.  I think I will buy no matter the outcome

Already voted, gonna just listen for the news if and when we get back in the truck...
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

Go hunting.

It's likely that the presidential election will be very close and it may not be decided for a few weeks like back in 2000.

Anyone else feeling like it is already over?  The economy is a big hurdle for McCain to clear and it isn't going to turn anytime soon.

Go hunting. It will save you from last minute small-minded fear-mongering rhetoric like that which has already been posted on the thread.
