Spot Hogg wiseguy nylon strap excess?
« on: August 06, 2013, 11:46:29 AM »
For those of you that have the nylon version, what do you do with the excess besides cutting it?  On another note, I am a 5'10" 175lbs, and or normal stature but i'm on the last hole (smallest) on the strap.  Is that normal?

Wow.  No responses.  I guess it was a dumb question.  :)

The best thing to do is cut it leaving some excess then burn and melt the tag end. My wise guy is on the second to last hole. Every brands strap I have ever put on has been way to big except Scott. Dont know why all these companies are making release straps so big. Anyone ever heard of a release strap being too small?

Same here.  I had a scott little bitty goose (i think), and the wrist strap was just fine.  This is my first spot hogg, and it's super large.  Either someone's got humongous wrists or they must have their jacket under the wrist strap.  Hmmm?

I also shoot with a Wise Guy and like my release strap very tight so I'm also in the last hole. In an email to Spot Hogg I asked if  they made a wrist strap sized for women or youth since my wife was thinking bout it. I didn't receive a response. Scott makes them in two sizes.
