Wader help
« on: September 08, 2013, 01:39:41 PM »
I just bought a pair waders from a thrift store 29.99 sweet deal they have no holes except for the one that they put in it for the tag, how do I plug or fill in the hole to stop the leak?

Thats hilarious. Never ceases to amaze me what people who don't know will do.

Go to Bi-mart or any sports store for that matter and get a tube of Aquaseal. Mark the hole and smear a good coating over both the outside and inside of it. It will dry rubbery and flexible. That should pretty much take care of it. You can also use Shoe goo, but I'm sold on Aquaseal. Its by far the best stuff for sealing holes and torn seams.

Out of curiousity, where is the hole they put in them?

Very nice. Yep get some aquaseal and that'll fix you up. Good job finding a deal on those!

I'm sure it can't be a very big hole???
Like these guys said... aquaseal id great for neopreme repairs.
If you can't find any, shoe goo or gorilla glue will work well too.
