Crap, the derby is the same weekend as the sportsmans show at the trac!  :bash:

Indeed my Puyallup show starts the 22nd then Portland the 5th :yike: I am going to be one tired puppy! At least I get to start the crazy schedule off with the coyote contest :IBCOOL:

Indeed it was :chuckle:

One thing that you guys might do is give out numbers to people when they show up. So the guys who get there early are first in line for blocks. Just a idea but keeps people from showing up right at startup time and then pushing to be in front of the line when others have been there for hrs.
We will do what we can. It's first come first serve after 5:30. It's hard to break away from work to help guys that are early. We will do our best to help everyone in a timely manner. I appreciate the guys that are putting in the miles for the classic an understand you guys need to get to your ground ASAP. Thanks for all your interest. It's going to be awesome once again.

100% understand bud no worries. I was thinking that if you just had like a clip board and had guys that showed up early sign in then at 5:30, the first people on the list would get to be first in line.

Say you show up at 4:00pm and you sign in at the number 1 spot. Then I show up at 5:15 and get the number 2 spot. When 5:30 rolls around and the handing out blocks starts. Number 1 gets to go first then number 2. It sounds like it will be good sized this year and it may help with getting blocks handed out.

Just bouncing ideas.

Thanks for the ideas. I know Randy and I are both open to try and make things as smooth as they can be. I will look into it. Thanks again for the ideas it is truly appreciated.

Since I'm so new to this, I was wondering if anyone had a packing list they they could share so that I can be prepared. Also, do ppl just sleep in their rigs or tents or what. I know I'm a rookie but I really don't understand how this is suppose to go. I understand the rules I think, it's everything else that I'm curious about. I figured as long as I brought everything I would need, the rest would work itself out. Thanks.

Do whatever you want. Get a hotel room. Find a hooker. Sleep in a Yote den. Check in and drive home, go out for an hour Sat. It is what you want it to be. Just shoot more dogs than the next guy...that's it!

It is a day & night hunt, of you want to stay up all night & sleep days its up to you, or sleep night & hunt days. Heck no sleep for two days & two nights the way the young bucks do it! My wifes to cute for me not to crawl in bed at some point during the night..... Well that and I'm to dam old for all nighters! Lol But from start to stop you can hunt all hours. Hopes this helps you out.

There's a Motel 6 right across the road.  Last year you just had to tell them you are with the predator hunters, and they gave a discount.  That's where I stayed.  At my age, sleeping in a tent is not very inviting any more.  :chuckle: If you already hunt coyotes, you will know what else to bring.....

Yea, I stayed in that Motel 6 last year.  Not good for much but a quick nap and shower.  Pretty low key, not many bugs, but doable.  I am bringing the pretty lady also so we are upgrading a little this year.

Just FYI if your looking for a little nicer hotel the red lion on 20th is nice and fairly close to RDO.

That's about all I had time for anyway!  Wouldn't pay to go to a fancier place....  :chuckle:

Good to see you there Raul.. drive faster next time. :chuckle:

Indications say that this is going to be a pretty big event.  I am still sending info out to new folks every night.  I am asking everyone to PLEASE respect the operations of the RDO facility.  They are doing regular business that day and are courteous enough to allow us to use their facility.  Please do not bother them until we are set up for registration which we will get set up as soon as we can.  I am driving from the west side and should arrive about 5ish.  Others will be there about the same time so we will have several lines for registration which starts at 5:30.  If you think you will be late for registration (ends at 8:00pm) make sure you contact one of us prior to the completion of registration time.

We can send you registration forms prior to time via an attachment so they can be completed prior to your arrival.  If you do, please make sure they are legible.  You will also be able to choose side pots, calculate total fees etc. which would speed up the process.  Make sure you have your wild ID (license) with you as we will be recording them on your registration form.  We will have to physically see it.

As many of you know, this is a smooth run event, we have taken every possible avenue to make it an even match for all, and also have many top notch raffle prizes to boot.

I will be making an E-mail notification list off this years registrations for notification for future event. If you do not want to be on it, please let us know at time of registration.

If anyone has any questions, please ask jayrod9528 or myself and we will get you an answer as soon as we can.  Also, if you have any suggestions on how we can improve future events, are ears are open.

Thanks to all of you for your interest..... and i will see you there.  That means you too Heredoggydoggy
