We live in Onalaska. We used to hunt that area years ago. We know people that drew that permit last year and the year before and have done well.

I believe this area is Sierra Pacific.

Most of the south side of Boistfort and wildwood roads is Sierra. A lot of the north side is Weyerhauser. Obviously some exclusions to that.

They should be sending out a map and info packet sometime soon.  My dad had a muzzleloader tag in there last year and we didn't get the info until December i believe.  Our hunting partner drew the rifle tag this year, so we might see you in there.

They'll let you drive in for your hunt, either you'll get the combo or the gate will just be open all the time like it was last year.
When you see the third, thin the herd.
Right now I'm somewhere picking up sheds.

Yes you will get to drive in. Packets should be mailed out to permit holders this next week.  You will not be able to drive in until the first day of your hunt.
