New VW diesel
« on: January 21, 2014, 11:30:54 AM »
Just got the wife a new Jetta TDI diesel.
 I can't be more impressed.
More get up and go than our Audi A4 and we got 621 miles out of the first
Tank of fuel.    :IBCOOL:

We got the Premium addition, which has the premium sound system, Nav screen, back up camera (which the wife needs) and sun roof
It retailed for around 30,  Walked out the door for just over 25.
It's a 14 gallon tank if I remember correctly.

Picked it up from Karmart in Burlington.  The only good experience I have ever had at a car dealership.

I have the '13, Premium w/nav.  34 city and 44 on the open road.  10k miles so far and enjoyed every mile.  The car has decent pep for a diesel.

Hahaha I'm just messing with ya. I have a buddy that drives a diesel and if anyone says "what's your gas mileage like" he is quick to correct them saying, "It's diesel, not gas"! I hate it when he says that  :bash:

I have been thinking about taking out the giant muffler on my sportwagon, just put a straight pipe in its place.
