I have one.  I like it real well for big binos.  For spotting scopes I prefer the 128RC Video Pan Head and have a couple of them.

What it has going on over a Video Pan Head for me is that when you trigger it it is free to move w/no friction like w/Video pan heads.  BUT you have to read the directions and get the adjustment set right about once per year.
