It is funny how sometimes you get exactly what you ask for :chuckle:
If it original that you want ask the young lady in the picture. She looks to be about 3-4 and I am certain she will have several original names. If nothing else you will have a few for the next poor guy who asks for help.

My suggestion is "Yager" short for Jagermeister. Translated literally, Jägermeister means “hunt-master,”

name him the hunt-master.....
Some people spend their entire life wondering if they made a difference. Marines don't have that problem.

I almost named my GSP that, but I didn't want to have everyone and their mother ask if I named him after the alcohol, and having to explain his name to every single person.

Another option is Nimrod

Webster's Dictionary

1.) a descendant of Ham represented in the Old Testament book of  Genesis as a mighty hunter and a king of Shinar
 2.) hunter

We just got our own Yellow Lab last week.  My boy named him "Rocky".  Here's a couple of names that he passed on:

Achilles
Zeus
Ranger
Caesar
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

How about Boneaddict, or Bone for short, since he might find you more sheds than retrieve ducks....
