Elk with hoof rot

Anyone on the west side hear about anyone tagging elk with hoof rot??
I talked to a man yesterday that said his party os 17 got 14 bulls and about 10 had hoof rot! :yike:

havent seen it yet.  i wonder if it is like trench foot?
you cant eat the horns, but backstraps look like crap on my wall!!!!
