Quick smallie action!
« on: May 31, 2019, 02:44:45 PM »
As the plight of 2019 rages on, I have had little time to fish since February.  I do not feel comfortable travelling more than an hours distance from my Mom's house (just in case).  So, last week, with only five hours to actually fish, I hit a lake near me for some smallmouth action.  Mainly because I knew I would catch a few in the short amount of time I had AND because I was getting sick, and if I got to feeling too crappy I was only 40 minutes from home.

I pretty much committed to a spinnerbait and swimming a Texas-rig for follow-ups.  Wish I would have had more time...but the trip served its purpose:  :)

The bed fishing dig at the end is for a coworker that told me he spent "40 minutes" trying to catch a bedded largemouth the week prior  :chuckle:
