Facebook notifications

I've been getting more and more email notifications of Facebook posts from Washington Trappers Association.
Are these separate from posts that appear here? I hate Facebook, don't know why I ever signed up in the first place. The whole thing seems like a bunch of nonsense. Two days ago I went through the process to permanently delete my Facebook account; takes 30 days to take effect though.
I'm trying to do my best to not support people, organizations, and businesses who don't like what I think and what I do.

I believe it takes 90 days to delete everything you post. And if you accidently login before that day, you start all over again.

WSTA does have a Facebook group. I am not on it.  I don't do Facebook. Doug Stanley moderates that.

The WSTA does have a Facebook group. The email notifications are likely do to your notification settings. If you are receiving some kind of solicitation it is not us.

Apparently the post on Farcebook are not duplicates of what appears here.
Thanks for the info.
