Love it! Salt is on my list this summer. I've wanted to try it ever since getting some of Lokidog's.
Let's keep these threads going. So cool that we are literally surrounded by food.
Rinsing and resetting my maple sap jugs this morning I noticed that the stinging nettles are starting to grow. Last spring I picked some for Eggs Florentine instead of using spinach.

I've been wanting to try nettle soup. A little scary, 'cause me and nettles have some bad history!

“Fancy” homemade wine salt is on my dinner now! Not too bad. Something different!

Nettle soup? I’ll have to look that one up! I’m game for that!

Link to edible PNW plants. I have a booklet I downloaded as well on my phone (Kindle?) that is fun. If you are into that sort of thing...
