We(you) started in January and through our platform brought in more than 12,400 emails, comments, calls & endorsements in response to an irresponsible petition by HSUS to end bear hunting & further destruct wildlife in California. This was followed by hundreds & hundreds of sportsmen & women attending Commission meetings and speaking their passion & support of the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation to the board. You got a glimpse of this today.
Today all of our/your efforts have come to fruition and the California wildlife departments recommendation to deny the petition based on rigorous, thorough scientific data has been supported by the Fish & Game Commission.
Bear hunting will continue in California and science has now been presented to improve our opportunities. Let's work on that.
