Tipi and stove recommendation's

Looking for recommendations/experience/advice with purchasing a tipi and lightweight stove. Will be wanting a 4-6 person size, most likely 6.

Been researching this myself and I think I have narrowed what I want down with the Argali tents they seem to be more durable than others out there. I guess alot of it is need specific but I am impressed with the quality. Hopefully others will chime in here with actual experience! As far as stoves go I have zero experience.

Are you wanting a 6 man tipi with the stove? Or a tent rated as a 6 man? The ratings usually don’t account for a stove. Also, are you wanting for backpacking or for truck camping?

tagging.....we usually sleep under tarps, but I'm thinking of a lightweight TP as well.

I use a Seek Outside Redcliff with an SXL stove and a carbon fiber center pole. We slept three on a 9 day hunt this year with plenty of room.  However, if I knew I was going to a spot with a larger flat area, I wouldn’t hesitate to sleep 4 with the stove. There’s enough head room for 1 or 2 to stand at a time. We bring a lightweight tarp that we set up near the tent to store our gear and excess firewood. Then just bring one night of wood into the tent. You can buy liners for the inside of them to help with condensation, but I don’t find them too useful when you have a stove going. I wouldn’t spend the money on a liner. We didn’t have any issues with the condensation. We burned almost all night most of the time. Had to clean the stove box out each day.  There’s a YouTube video where a guy replaces the stove door with a glass one. I thought that was kinda neat. Would be nice for the added light. Comes with like a 3ounce weight penalty I believe.

Peax tipi and the new Torrid stove would be at the top of my list.

Have an 8 man seek outside tipi and xl stove.   Will blow you out with heat unless really cold and windy if you load it up.

Would only use the combo for packing in.   Wall tents and reg stoves are 100 times better if weight is not an issue.

On a budget go with Lite Outdoors. Ive had their Tipi and stove for about 6 years, the Tipi is a little heavier than some out there but it and stove have been great. Seek is a good option as well. I have a Guardian and cub stove that are great

I dont know enough about Arghali and Peax Tipi's but I just bought the new Peax stove and its damn nice.

I used the seek cimeran as nd a large ulite stove for 2 of us and gear it was great and warm like said stock enough wood each night as you’ll be up every 2 hours stocking it . With the stove running we didn’t have a condensation problem definitely recommend it

Most likely looking at the listed “6 person with stove size.” So what I’m gathering is that in all reality it will have enough room for 4 with the stove set up? This will be for backpack hunts.

I just purchased the Pomoly Bromance 4–6-person tent with a T-Brick Ultra 2.0 stove.  I live in Snohomish.  It's a pretty cool set up.  If your close to Snohomish I would set it up and let you check it out.  It's my first year with this set up its worth a look in my opinion.  It's sad there are really no brick-and-mortar retailers around that carry tents and titanium stoves so you can see what you get before you order one.

SO Redcliff is a good option for a few guys and a stove - holds 6 well enough without the stove. Their tipis are hard to beat.
