Ive worked around hundreds of lions and the GPS data is telling . Have seen kittens born all times of the year . Even just look at trail cam pics on this site over the years, pick a month and look at all the pics . Pics from spring are not all little kittens , they are every age from baby kittens to kittens bigger than their mom. Have seen multiple times female loses kittens then 120 days later there is a collared male with her for few days ect . They breed when they need to.
