Talked with a guy yesterday at sportco who said they were killing it out around Pt. Definace on Wednesday.  80-100 feet, right off the bottom.  Apparently his group put about 40# in the boat that day.  Have always had interest in doing it, but I've never given it a try.

Was out at Redondo yesterday. 4 of us caught about 75-80. Some were really nice size. Just find the flotilla and join ‘em. Seemed like the Yozuri mini squid Aurora jigs performed the best. My standard jig set up worked pretty good. Started out in 90-100 ft and then it shifted to 60 ft.  Just served some up for a Christmas party tonight. Used a new batter recipe and they were awesome.

What kind of batter recipe do you use?
