Shipping
« on: April 30, 2025, 10:13:13 PM »
A big thank you to Tom Parker our NTA Director for his advice on shipping through https://www.pirateship.com/rates in his latest column in The Fur Shed magazine.
I recently shipped some fur to Moyle Mink & Tannery. The cheapest I could get the packages shipped was $172 but with Pirate Ship they went UPS Ground for $71.

Recently started using Pirate Ship as well. $35 UPS turned into $11 just this week. It's awesome.

Yes Pirate ship is great-if you dig a little, you can squeeze even more as you find how the different size requirements affect costs. Example, a box length going down just a couple inches, or an order split between 2 smaller boxes can really get good savings.
