Howdy
« on: June 29, 2009, 09:17:51 AM »
Well I have posted somewhat on the big game forums, but have yet to say hi to my fellow waterfowlers. I just moved to Spokane from Chico, CA and spent my college days chasing ducks in the rice fields of northern California. I was also involved in the Chico State chapter of DU for a number of years before moving up here. I look foward to doing some duck hunting this fall in eastern washington. I took a scouting trip out to Banks lake and potholes reservior this past weekend. They look like some promising areas, but they are one hell of a drive.

That is a hell of a drive for a day of hunting. I have heard there are some pretty good areas around Cheney and fields around Ritzville. you might want to check those places out.

Welcome!! I was in the same boat a year or so ago when I moved out here from Minnesota.  There are plenty of places to duck hunt within a hour Spokane.
