People shoot does. How would that be any different?

Buck to doe ratio comes to mind. Heck of a lot more does out there than bucks. I always see guys talking about the need to increase the ratio but have a hard time passing the little guy. My original comment was more of a joke than anything. Hunting the eastern side of the state being mostly 3pt and better. Most of the time anything 2pt and smaller doesn’t get much of a look around here.

I get the joking around. I just don't like anything that denigrates a person's choice of meat over horns. It's all in a person's perspective. What they value more, meat in the freezer or a big rack of horns and other factors like how many days they have to hunt and the chances of seeing a buck where they hunt. There is no wrong choice.

I process a lot of animals, if your going to shoot a yearling for the "good eater" excuse that's ur call but don't plow it threw the shoulders with your rifle, you only get one meat tub out of em to begin with
